NatWest cuts rates by up to 84 basis points

NatWest has announced rate cuts by up to 84 basis points as well as launched a number of new products.

Notable rate reductions include the 80 per cent LTV two-year fix sliced from 2.98 per cent to 2.14 per cent, and the 85 per cent LTV two-year fix from 2.98 per cent to 2.14 per cent.

Both products are within the lender’s semi-exclusive residential range, do not include a fee and offer £250 cashback.

The lender has also reduced rates on the 60 per cent LTV five-year fix from 2.17 per cent to 2.14 per cent. This deal is within the lender’s buy-to-let range, is for remortgage only, has a £995 fee, and £250 cashback.

The 80 per cent LTV five-year fix has also been cut, from 2.13 per cent to 2.08 per cent. This offering is within the lender’s residential range, is for remortgage only, has a £995 fee, and offers £250 cashback.

Furthermore, NatWest has introduced a 75 per cent LTV two-year fix at 2.06 per cent, and an 85 per cent LTV two-year fix at 2.13 per cent.

The latter product is for purchase only, while the former is for remortgage only. Both products have no fees and £250 cashback.

NatWest head of sales Mark Bullard says: “We have taken this opportunity to continue to reaffirm our commitment to the market by offering reductions on our two- and five-year deals across our exclusive and core ranges and across a multitude of LTV bandings.”
